Artist Statement
The sky is the world’s biggest canvas — painted twice a day as the sun rises and sets. It happens everyday but the results are always unique — never to be repeated.
It’s easy for me to get caught up in life, and never take in the natural artwork in these fleeting moments that happen above us. And, at a time when it feels like world events are dragging me through life by the collar, I find a little therapy in the soft tones and lines of the consistently changing skies.
When the sun is at its lowest points it puts off its brightest light — I am finding peace in these calm, soothing and approachable abstracts.
